Terms of Agreement

All clients are asked to sign an Engagement Letter which outlines our responsibilities, your responsibilities, and our scope of work.

Our standard terms are 7-days.  A monthly late fee of $25 (ex GST) is applicable per overdue invoice, however if you arrange a payment plan the late fee is $10 (ex GST) for each late installment.

We do understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise – if you have any issues at all with payment of your invoices please just give us a call.  We can offer terms or a payment plan to suit your financial situation and see you through the hard times – remember, we’re here to work with you.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality of your files, information, personal and accounting details are strictly adhered to – in our industry it’s imperative that we take this very seriously.  Notably:

  • all files and documents are stored in our secure office
  • documentation no longer required is destroyed by shredding
  • your situation will not be discussed with anyone without your prior knowledge and consent
  • any passwords kept on your behalf are kept in a secure manner, accessible only by relevant staff as required

BBS is committed to accuracy and attention to detail.  Based on the information you supply we always offer accurate and useful information in the form of concise reporting.

We are committed meeting and/or exceeding our BAS Agent requirements.

Networking

We believe that networking and referrals are a vitally important aspect of small business.  As bookkeepers we are in the unique position of being exposed to a wide range of businesses and services within almost any industry imaginable.

We always promote and refer the services that we use ourselves as well as the services of our clients.  When referring you on to other services we only do so under the belief that these organisations or individuals are qualified and offer reliable and quality services.  Referrals are given on a ‘all care, no responsibility’ basis, therefore feedback on any referrals is most welcome.

This also means we promote and refer your business when we can.

BBS does not receive financial gain or commission from any referrals.
